The relentless construction of freeways in Houston will weigh down on H-Town drivers once again this weekend.

There are a few closures around town that you’ll want to remember before you hit the road. The only total closure going to be all lanes from Interstate 69 to West Loop 610 on the southwest side of Houston.

The closure will allow teams to demolish the old ramps connecting the loop to I-69. The work is part of a $ 259 million overhaul of the highway interchange.

The southbound exits for Newcastle and Chimney Rock will also be closed. The closure comes a few days after the opening of the new southbound I-69 loop connection ramp.

The ramp to I-69 northbound was opened weeks ago.

Near downtown, three eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 between Studemont and Houston Avenue will be closed. This closure includes the Taylor Street ramp.
