The UAE welcomed the signing of a political agreement by the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council in Sudan, Lt. Gen. Abdul Fattah Al Burhan, and Dr Abdullah Hamdouk, Prime Minister of the Transitional Council.

In a statement released on Sunday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC), the United Arab Emirates wished all Sudanese parties success in their next efforts to complete the transition period on the basis of the agreement. entered into by the Sudanese people to support the stability and prosperity of the country.


The MoFAIC affirmed the faith of the UAE in the ability of the brotherly Sudanese people to overcome the challenges of the current stage through the constitutional, legal and political compromise that governs the transition period.

The ministry underscored the UAE’s willingness to deepen and broaden the scope of cooperation with the Republic of Sudan and advance it to new heights in all fields with a view to further consolidating the strong relations between the states. two nations and their peoples.

The ministry also reiterated the UAE’s support for Sudan and its standing alongside its people to achieve their aspirations for stability and development.
