After Indian actors like Sanjay Dutt, Shah Rukh Khan, Mohanlal and Mammootty, a renowned Dubai-based businessman and philanthropist, Bharat J Mehra received the coveted 10-year gold visa from the United Arab Emirates for his humanitarian activities alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Novak Djokovic. He accepted the prestigious Visa on September 20, 2021.
Mehra founded the Bharat Mehra Strategies DMCC to provide strategic and business development advice to companies in India and the Middle East region. He is the chairman of Radha Meera Trust, supported by the Ajay Piramal group. He is also president of Mashobra Pvt Ltd. He has worked in philanthropic services and supported the underprivileged for over 25 years. His trust in India provides free food, medicine, ambulances, eye operations and education to more than 1,500 people a day.
“I consider Dubai as my home and I am fortunate to have obtained the Golden Visa. I thank the UAE government and immigration authorities for this huge gesture of gratitude,” Mehra said.
“The United Arab Emirates is a beautiful country, and under the forward-looking vision of our leaders, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, I am sure we will see many more achievements in the country,” he added. .
Mehra has never refrained from helping people. We still remember how a mother in need took financial assistance for the enrollment of her son in an engineering school. Despite his qualifications, he could not be admitted due to lack of funds. Without hesitation, Bharath transferred a large amount to his account. This is one of many such cases.
“Great opportunities to help others rarely arise, but small ones surround us every day. So, keep an eye out for them and grab them. Reach out to them, but do so in a respectful way that preserves their dignity and self-esteem. Help others to win, and you in turn will win. Remember we make a living with what we get, but we make a living with what we give, ”Mehra said.
Mehra always maintains a positive attitude. “We must be grateful for all we have, give with love and charity to those less fortunate, help who we can, whenever we can, smile on everyone, be in happiness and peace and spread joy and happiness everywhere we go, “he noted.
Mehra is obligated for everything the UAE has provided her and intends to continue serving the country.
