Sarah Al Amiri, Minister of State for Advanced Technologies, recently visited Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), the integrated technology park of the free zone, where she was briefed on the state-of-the-art technological infrastructure of the Dubai Digital Park (DDP ), the Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Campus (Dtec), the new smart campus of the Rochester Institute of Technology-Dubai (RIT-Dubai) and the innovation and space centers located at DSO.

Al Amiri was received by Dr Mohammed Al Zarooni, vice president and CEO of the Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), and several senior officials from DSOA headquarters. She was also briefed on DSOA’s role in enhancing the uptake of advanced technologies as a pillar of the smart city strategy, as well as the role of DSO in enabling businesses and its community to have cutting-edge technology that helps achieve digital transformation in all operations.

Sarah Al Amiri praised the level of adoption of advanced technologies at DSO, making it a leading model for the success of the UAE and its resilient economy in using these future technologies to improve research. and development, create added value for the national economy and activate promising opportunities in the sectors of the new economy.
