With the help of Ciarmoli Queda Studio and Tristan Plessis Studio, Hyde Hotels, Resorts & Residences plans to launch its first hotel outside of the United States at Dubai Business Bay.
The five-star Hyde Dubai Business Bay is expected to debut in the fourth quarter of 2021.
Entrance to Dubai
In its prime location facing the canal and the Dubai Business Bay promenade, the new hotel will place its guests close to the iconic Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. The exciting program is being developed in partnership with the owner, Emerald Palace Group, who is best known for the development and construction of residential projects in Ukraine, United Arab Emirates and Russia.
The announcement of Hyde Hotels, Resorts & Residences follows Accor’s acquisition of the SBE hotel brands and the joint venture with Ennismore. This Dubai property will be the fifth in total for the Hyde brand.
âWe could not be happier to work with Emerald Palace Group to bring the Hyde brand to Dubai Business Bay and we would like to thank Dr Nver Mkhitaryan for his support in the development of the property,â said Chadi Farhat, Director of the operation of SBE.
âThis opening is a testament to our continued international growth, and in particular, following the incredible success of SLS Dubai, Hyde Dubai Business Bay will continue to bring additional lifestyle experiences to one of the most dynamic destinations in the world. We’ll be bringing some of our best-known concepts to the property with Katsuya, Cleo, and Hudson Tavern.
Dr Mkhitaryan, owner of EPG Group, added: âWe are delighted to partner with Accor to establish the first Hyde hotel in the United Arab Emirates.
âNo expense is spared in construction and decoration, and we are confident our customers will appreciate the attention to every detail. This is an exciting project for our company and its development broadens and complements EPG’s portfolio of hotels and residences.
Global gastronomy and city views
Hyde Hotel Dubai Business Bay will house 276 rooms with balconies, including luxury suites with views of the rooftops, Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Canal.
Dining experiences here must include the Mediterranean restaurant Cleo; contemporary Japanese restaurant Katsuya; and Hudson Tavern, offering artisan burgers. These will be joined by the concept of The Perq café and lobby lounge.
Other hotel facilities will include the Hyde Pool and Lounge, Spa, Salon, Pool and Fitness Center, as well as five meeting rooms, a banquet hall and a shopping area. Ciarmoli Queda Studio designs hotel rooms, public areas and Cleo, while Tristan Plessis Studio oversees Katsuya, Hudson Tavern and the Hyde Pool and Lounge.
