As reported by the highly regarded Times and Sunday Times University Guide 2022, Glyndwr University tops the list in Wales and is second in the UK for ‘quality of education’ with 82 % of student satisfaction. Glyndwr University achieved these ranks this year due to its strong performance in the areas of “Student Satisfaction” and “Teaching Quality”.
The Times and The Sunday Times guide includes profiles on 135 universities, using the latest data released in the past two months. It provides the definitive rankings of UK universities and the most comprehensive overview of higher education in Britain.
Glyndwr’s success in The Times and The Sunday Times University Guide 2022 follows his success in the Guardian University Guide 2022 which was published in September, where he has risen steadily by 41 places this year to be ranked 66th in the UK .
In addition, Glyndwr University also proudly holds the following titles –
• No. 1 in England and Wales for “Social Inclusion”, Sunday Times Good University Guide.
• # 1 in Wales for ‘Teaching on My Path’, ‘Learning Opportunities’ and ‘Assessment & Feedback’, National Student Survey (NSS) 2021.
• No. 2 in Wales for “Student Experience”, Sunday Times Good University Guide.
• N ° 5 in the United Kingdom for “Student Voice”, National Student Survey (NSS) 2021.

• 15th overall in the UK for “Student Satisfaction”, Complete University Guide 2022.
This year’s National Student Survey (NSS) found that 87% of students at Wrexham Glyndwr University are satisfied with how their course was taught. The grades helped Glyndwr surpass UK and Welsh averages in “Teaching On My Course”, “Assessment and Feedback”, “Academic Support”, “Learning Community” and “Student Voice”.
The university improved its score in all categories with its greatest improvement in “teaching quality”. Overall, Glyndwr students are also more satisfied, as expressed by an improved score related to “overall satisfaction”.
