ABU DHABI, 26th September, 2022 (WAM) — His Highness President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, today received in Qasr Al Shati, Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Prime Minister of Malaysia, who is on a working visit to the country .
President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed welcomed Prime Minister Yaakob, hoping that his visit will help strengthen the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two friendly countries in various fields.
His Highness conveyed his greetings to the King of Malaysia, Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, wishing him good health and happiness, and further progress and prosperity for Malaysia and its people.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed joint cooperation and partnership opportunities between the two countries in the areas of economy, investment and trade, as well as renewable energy, food security and other aspects to realize the aspirations of their peoples.
They also reviewed a number of developments on the regional and international scenes and exchanged views on issues of common interest.
For his part, the Malaysian Prime Minister expressed his joy at meeting President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed and thanked him for the warm welcome, affirming his country’s willingness to cooperate with the UAE in all economic fields, investment and other vital areas.
The meeting took place in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, and several personalities, in addition to the delegation accompanying the Malaysian Prime Minister.
