ABU DHABI, 8th May, 2022 (WAM) — Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of the Frontline Heroes Office, has paid tribute to healthcare workers for their invaluable contributions in the United Arab Emirates, as which the country marks May 9 as the annual ‘Emirati Medical Day’.
The day aims to recognize and celebrate the tremendous contributions to the country of our country’s medical personnel.
In a statement on the occasion of a new initiative organized for the first time this year, Sheikh Sultan expressed his gratitude to the true heroes of society who have dedicated their lives to providing expert and compassionate care to the people of the United Arab Emirates , especially through the COVID-19 pandemic.
He described all healthcare workers as inspiring role models and their services in the UAE are truly appreciated as they are always at the forefront at crucial times of need and have been essential to the country’s robust response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sheikh Sultan said: “As we commemorate the first ‘Emirati Medical Day’ in the United Arab Emirates, we celebrate and honor every healthcare professional working in the medical field across the country for their continued commitment to improving lives. of our people and help them live long, happy and fulfilled lives.”
He said the frontline heroes office recognizes and expresses its gratitude to our nation’s healthcare professionals. In line with the Bureau’s efforts over the past two years to advocate for those working on the front lines, it has launched a series of initiatives with the help of its strategic partners to support healthcare professionals and their families.
Sheikh Sultan added that the frontline heroes demonstrated values of sacrifice and devotion to our country in their daily actions in protecting the UAE and its people from the threat of COVID-19. He also emphasized that their heroic actions and contributions to our society throughout the pandemic and every day will always be remembered and celebrated, and that the Frontline Heroes Office will continue to provide support and recognition to the staff.
