ABU DHABI, 8th May, 2022 (WAM) — Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of the Frontline Heroes Office, has paid tribute to healthcare workers for their invaluable contributions in the United Arab Emirates, as which the country marks May 9 as the annual ‘Emirati Medical Day’.

The day aims to recognize and celebrate the tremendous contributions to the country of our country’s medical personnel.

In a statement on the occasion of a new initiative organized for the first time this year, Sheikh Sultan expressed his gratitude to the true heroes of society who have dedicated their lives to providing expert and compassionate care to the people of the United Arab Emirates , especially through the COVID-19 pandemic.

He described all healthcare workers as inspiring role models and their services in the UAE are truly appreciated as they are always at the forefront at crucial times of need and have been essential to the country’s robust response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
