Emirates News Agency – MoFAIC introduces updated version of its ‘UAE MOFAIC’ smart app

DUBAI, 12th October, 2022 (WAM) — While attending Gitex Global 2022, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) has revealed the details of the updated version of its smart app which will soon be launched ( MOFAIC WATER).

MoFAIC is keen to deliver high-quality, proactive digital services in line with the UAE Digital Government Strategy 2025, and to keep pace and meet customer expectations. The new design of the application is based on high quality standards that meet user requirements and improve their experience of accessing the service. For example, the visual customer experience has been improved so that users see the services most relevant to them and their needs. The classifications of services have also been clearly defined, in addition to simplicity by a progressive display of options according to the needs of the user.

MoFAIC has embarked on an initiative to establish an infrastructure based on the latest technologies, to improve customer experience as part of a set of changes. In this context, Rashed Nadhar Rahmah, Director of Information Technology Department at MoFAIC reiterated that the “Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has developed an integrated strategy to refine its digital services, as it aims to design and develop sustainable digital services in partnership with the community, to improve customer confidence and quality of life.

As part of MoFAIC’s drive to provide its customers with the best experience and in preparation for the launch of the new version of the app, MoFAIC engaged customers in a one-of-a-kind experience, bringing together a group of users from different segments of society in special workshops to learn about the user’s journey in the old version of the application and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement at all stages of development.

The team sought to improve customer confidence and quality of life by designing digital services that meet customer needs, meet the highest quality standards and ensure smooth and streamlined access to services. MoFAIC’s Digital Services Task Force has spared no effort to improve ministry services and has worked dedicatedly to digitize existing services and simplify procedures.
