ABU DHABI, 13th October, 2022 (WAM) — ADNOC, in partnership with Team UAE, has launched the ADNOC Accelerator Program, an innovative three-day training camp created to identify and develop the next generation of cycling talent emirates.

The program offers promising Emirati cyclists the opportunity to train under the watchful eye of UAE Team Emirates’ top-level coaching staff and compete alongside the two-time Tour de France-winning squad.

The ADNOC Acceleration Program is designed to test and measure participants’ physical fitness and mental abilities through a series of competitive scenarios. As the program progresses, the group size will be reduced to the best riders. These elite cyclists will then race alongside UAE Team Emirates riders in a road race to Al Wathba, to determine who will be the ultimate winner.

The winner will be invited to join a one-year development program with UAE Team Emirates, underwritten by ADNOC, which will include access to UAE Team Emirates coaches and nutritionists and the opportunity to attend training camps. official training throughout 2023, starting with a 10-day Winter Camp in Spain in December.

Emirati hero Yousif Mirza, Slovenian sensation Tadej Pogačar and the UAE Team Emirates management team will all be present throughout the ADNOC Acceleration Program, giving participants first-hand insight into what it is it takes to compete and challenge at the highest level and help identify the UAE Team Emirates’ stars of tomorrow.
