Deliveroo has unveiled its fourth publishing site in the United Arab Emirates. The new site is located on Hessa Street in Dubai and 300 meters from the third site which was launched in 2019. This is the first launch of the Deliveroo editions in 2021 in the United Arab Emirates and is expected to be the largest site in the world. .

The new Editions site is equipped with 12 super kitchens which will host a range of partners as well as an evolving rotation of virtual brands, to bring a unique curation of catering choices to the delivery areas around rue Hessa. Dubai foodies located in areas like Al Quoz, Arabian Ranches, Al Barsha South, JVC, Studio City, Sports City, IMPZ, Motor City and Madinat Jumeirah will now have access to a huge selection of dishes.

Partner restaurants on the site include La Serre, a favorite of award-winning French gastronomy, which is venturing into the off-site kitchen space for the very first time. The growing virtual concepts of PINZA! join them, including Banh Mi by PINZA !, Gyroz by PINZA! and word games. Other popular brands include Great Wall Chinese, Mythos Greek Kouzina and Dans’ Home Food. Additional brands that should be launched on the site include; Nourish, Urth Caffe and Simple Burger.

An increasing number of residential and corporate developments continue to appear around Hessa Street, making it a melting pot of consumer demand. After an exceptional market response at the 2019 launch, Deliveroo is now ready to meet the growing demand in the region with an additional selection of partner restaurants. The results of the existing site in the region, evidence of growing potential and confidence in Deliveroo’s infrastructure have prompted some of the city’s top brands to sign up for a place at the new Editions site.

By design, the Editions concept is a delivery-focused model that allows restaurants to expand their market into a new area without investing in a physical location, so restaurants can grow with lower costs and risks. The concept proved to be extremely beneficial during COVID-19 when delivery became the focus of most restaurants. The restaurants use their own expert and very passionate chefs just like they do in their traditional restaurants, but with the help of Deliveroo’s kitchen infrastructure and rider network they are able to bring the same dishes. restaurant quality to more customers in new areas.

Anis Harb, Managing Director of Deliveroo GCC, said: “We are delighted to launch our fourth publishing site in the United Arab Emirates and to offer more food choices to customers in Dubai. Since launching our first editions in 2017, Deliveroo has spearheaded the offsite kitchen space for delivery to the UAE. Editions kitchens have proven to be a great way to help our partner restaurants grow without an initial investment. It is inspiring to see how much this market has grown since our first site and with this launch we aim to stay at the forefront of this industry.
