Amana Capital welcomes Mani Sahota as Chief Information Officer

Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Amana Capital, the leading online financial trading company in the MENA region, recently announced the appointment of Mani Sahota as Chief Information Officer of the organization.

The hiring aligns with Amana’s transformation momentum which also includes a recruitment drive to build world-class capabilities and expertise across all verticals of the brand.

Mani will spearhead Amana’s digital presence by driving internal mobile and web applications to support the brand’s transformation in the region.

Mani is a trading industry veteran, bringing over 20 years of experience with him to Amana. He first entered the world of e-commerce in 2009, where he joined GFT Markets within the B2B division as Head of Institutional Solutions, after which he joined GAIN Capital as Vice President of institutional strategy, leading the growth of its B2B division and support services. .

Mani held senior positions within the CME Group as Head of Client Solutions, where he was part of a team developing and producing centrally cleared OTC products. He was also part of Barclays Bank, working in the Technology division.

Prior to joining Amana, Mani’s last role was at TradeTech Group as Chief Technology Officer. He was a key member of staff who helped found TradeTech Alpha in 2015, where he was responsible for all areas of technology, from development to support.
