Dubai: A rally of 100 supercars by men in kanduras will be held in Dubai on July 2.
With free entry for visitors, the rally, organized in partnership with Emirates Motorsports Organization (EMSO), “will celebrate motoring culture and bring out the spirit of kandura [traditional Arab men’s attire] which symbolizes the style, pride, comfort and identity of men in the UAE,” the organizers said.
The parade will start at the Club Circuit at Dubai Autodrome in Motor City at 6 p.m. on July 2. Participants of different nationalities wearing the kandura will join the fun ride with their groups. The parade will pass by various Dubai landmarks such as the Museum of the Future, Meydan Bridge and Dubai Camel Race Circuit. The show will end at Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO).
Another highlight of the event is a Car and Bike Show competition taking place at Dubai Digital Park at DSO. The winners of the competition will receive prizes worth more than 25,000 Dh. The final awards ceremony for the winners will take place at the Radisson Red Hotel (DSO). The event also includes an exhibition of classic super cars and modified cars.

The event will also feature cuisines from different restaurants and entertainment.
Registrations are currently open for the Fun Drive and the Car and Bike Show. The event invites everyone to participate in the different categories to show off their automotive machinery.
