Alternative ladies’ nights, big brunches and gigantic concert duos…
Abu Dhabi is back in business and if you didn’t know it already, this list of top events is here to prove it. From a new fitness studio to restaurant openings, unique ladies’ nights and mega concerts, here are 8 things to expect in Abu Dhabi this September.
From September 3: Sweat it out in a world-class fitness studio
Self-proclaimed as the “best workout in the world”, Barry’s has now landed in Abu Dhabi, with its first fitness studio in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, now located in the Galleria Mall. HIIT classes held in their famous Red Room (with a low red-light rave vibe, which makes everyone look good) can burn up to 1,000 calories in one session. Here, your workout is split by intermittent switches between floor work and the treadmill, resulting in a complete physical focus. They also offer LIFT classes, a slower 50-minute flex session that focuses on “building muscle mass and focusing on form.” You’ll also find women-only classes, themed classes, live DJ classes, and bookable challenges on Barry’s super handy app.

September 8: Gather your gang for a girls’ night out
For women who think they’ve exhausted all the deals in town, how about trying on something a little different for the size? Put a new twist on girls’ night out and get ready for girls’ night out at Clymb Abu Dhabi. Taking place on Thursday, September 8, get ready for an adrenaline rush as you conquer an indoor skydive, where you’ll soar above the ground while twisting, spinning, and even flipping through the air. Everything happens in complete privacy and with an all-female staff.

Throughout the month of September: taste refined sweets at Cipriani Dolci
Dubai Mall’s go-to restaurant has landed in Abu Dhabi, bringing a touch of Venetian charm to Marina Mall. A luxurious take on the Italian Pasticceria, diners can look forward to decadent dishes like torta di cioccolato, freshly whipped to order ice cream, lemon tart, tiramisu and more. A staple of any Cipriani is the vanilla meringue cake, so we can’t wait to dig our spoons into this all-time Abu Dhabi dessert. But in addition to satisfying your sweet tooth, the Cipriani Dolci menu offers a range of savory dishes for a meatier meal, including baked tagliolini, scampi alla Carlina and Seppioline a Tecia.
